Going downhill

Until the 2023 and 2024 tax return seasons I could not have been happier. Since then, however, numerous glitches that require me to google and see what tricks others have done to work around the glitch. Also, they are non-stop trying to dupe me into paying for extra services.

Failed to import E*Trade option trades correctly

I have been using TurboTax for over 25 years. But I am really disappointed as the import of my trading data from E*Trade were a complete mess. The option trade data could not import properly

Dissappointed!

According to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Individual Income Tax returns do not have to be filed by mail due to form 591-D. I am extremely disappointed in Turbo Tax for not allowing a bypass to this erroneous policy.

I have been using TurboTax Since the mid 90's

I have been using TurboTax since the mid-90s. I've always found the program easy to use, with very few, if any, issues with the IRS. Most mistakes were my own, and I've never been audited.

Terrible software with zero improvement from year

I have zero trust in intuit. This software is garbage. I had to use Grok and Chat GPT to correct turbo taxes poor handling of some simple filing information. If I hadnt spotted some red flags and done research I would have paid thousands more in taxes. I also had to install on a new PC due to continued error 70001. The software is clunky and makes things take way longer than needed. Once I finally went to submit, it went through what felt a million more steps, then when finally ready to submit it then decided to show a bunch of errors that werent found in the find errors step of the process...then it was trying to have me review forms in a tiny window as part of the final submission process. I also paid for the audit defense by subscribing to turbo tax advantage but was continually prompted to purchase audit defense through the many steps of the final submission process. I am just blown away by how little improvement there is in this software from year to year.
