Get's the job done

I've used Turbo Tax since 1980 and it's always had the same issues. 1. After initially opening it and it updates, it never reopens own it's own. It has to be restarted. 2. Many of the fields will continue to hold information entered even after changing or deleting the initial information entered. The only way to clear the calculations associated with the field is to start a new return.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

After Several Years...Back to Using Turbo Tax!

There were a lot of things that I did not understand. But I consider our taxes complicated because we have a business that is multi-member LLC, and we have some real estate rentals. I do not blame Turbo Tax for my misunderstanding; it is just doing taxes in general. I did contact a support client whom Mira was extremely helpful, patience, and gave me the assurance to keep going.

TurboTax Home & Business

TurboTax is a great product for self-prepared returns. There are a few bugs here and there this year. This particular year (2024) it was not printing a copy of the federal return with the state return but printing an extra state copy. When you file a federal extension, it is not checking the box on the SC State return that a federal extension was filed. It required a manual override. Overall, pleased.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
