Stop all the additional fees

Finding some forms to file was far too difficult and painstaking. I was not happy with the additional processing fee TurboTax charged at the very end. So the cost of filing my returns included the purchase price of the software + purchase of state return + additional processing fee. I've used the program for years and things like that irritated me greatly.

Credit from store not applied ... hmmm

The summary showed my store credit of $10, but when I paid for the balance of the State program, which was $15.00, the screen for payment said I owed the total amount for the State software of $25.00 plus tax. I hit back button to see if I missed "applying' the credit, but there was no option for this. I should have only paid the $15.00 plus the tax. Therefore, I would like my refund of the $10.00 which was an overcharge to me.

Addition documents attached to form 8453

I wish you can add (pdf)attachment to send to IRS, documents like the form 8453 (I have to mail additional documents to IRS after I e-file my return)

turbotax is great

Spoke with Julieann who assisted me with downloading the turbo tax onto my new laptop. She is in Maine, Julieann was very pleasant, friendly, patient, understanding, very knowledgeable and someone I would love to deal with in the future. She is a great asset to your organization. If more individuals were like Julieann, there would be no issues in the world. She deserves a raise!!!!

TurboTax has a lot of issues

My experience filing with TurboTax was very frustrating. I use Quickbooks to keep my business books, and I thought there would be a way to import my Quickbooks info into TurboTax. I tried many different ways and was on the phone with an agent for about an hour. She finally told me to download the desktop version. I did and tried importing my Quickbook files, but it didn't work. I was on the phone with another agent for about 30 minutes trying to fix a simple issue with my state tax. After disconnecting, she never called back and I ended up losing most of my progress and had to do the whole return over again.

Charged additional fees that were NOT disclosed

I purchased the more expensive Home and Business / Federal and State software. Was told that it included one free state return. When finalizing the process, I was then charged $25 to file the state return and then charged a $40 fee for processing the refund!! Neither of these fees were disclosed before purchase or at the beginning of the process. Buyers Beware!
