Little problems never seem to get solved even though I report them -- particularly with treatment of foreign tax paid/withheld in brokerage accounts (it assumes only one deduction/country per account). Would like more information/explanation of limitations instead of searching for it -- i.e. income limits for personal deductions, or limits for the qualified business income deduction. The program always gives me an error message for incomplete form 1116 -- lack of explanation. The explanation information is pretty standard and it seems it could be automated, or at least give me more guidance on what the problem is or where it is located.

Improving the user experience

Entering data for 1116 is a mess and not intuitive. It would be nice if the account number is shown in in the imported 1099 forms along with the financial institution as I have multiple statements issued from the same financial institution.
The user interface is neither intuitive nor user friendly.
It would also be nice to get a detailed summary of all the income sections and tax sections in one page.
