efiling state return was a big headache

I could not pay for efiling with my VISA online due to glitch in TurboTax. I had to call a service rep to complete the purchase. The service rep was having issues too. It took a long while. I hope the state (CA) accepts the efile.

TurboTax desktop is a great product

The TurboTax desktop version with the forms is great as it gives all the history and context. The ability to import and use past year's tax data is highly appreciated. The expert advice was excellent content, friendly, and great value.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

I dont like TurboTax

TurboTax is too cumbersome to use and they try to sell unnecessary services every step of the way.They charge $25 dollars to file state tax returns. I cant wait for a competing product that will make TurboTax irrelevant and I'll never have to use this product again
