This is my 3rd - 4th year with Turbotax. Initially it was alien to me, but now I am becoming familiar with the system and this time was easiest

Turbo Tax makes me understand my taxes.
I could become a Turbo Tax expert.

TurboTax Payment Process Needs to be Updated

Overall, no problems with filing my taxes (Feds plus MO and CO). My disappointment is in your payment process. I paid for Audit Defense, one additional State and then $20 to e-file each state. First, recommend you just bake in the price to e-file for the states. Feds are free. You offer one state to create the return for free. When I bought the second state, HIGHLY recommend you allow the user to e-file for each state that is either offered or purchased. Don't be like the airlines for baggage...just make it part of your service.
Second, when I did have to pay for these three services, I had to fill out the EXACT same screens as though TT didn't know who I was (i.e. name, address, billing address, credit card info)--again, THREE times! I found it maddening that even after "Saving my Payment info to my account"; your system didn't have a PoP-up to ask "Do you want to use the saved credit card from your account?". Bottomline: what is the purpose of having to sign into your TT account if your payment system doesn't use any of the information from the account?

foreign passive rental income option

Turbo tax should be able to include 'passive income' for foreign assets and not defer to only stock income. We had to go through a lot of hoops to make the system generate 1116 form for foreign rental income that is not stocks!
Also, continuously asking if we want turbo tax advice and having to uncheck the box EVERY SINGLE TIME we started the program. Need to save our option.
