Solid Product - a few glitches

We have used TurboTax for a number of years and appreciate how easy it is to use and how accurate it is. However, this would be a 5-star review if we didn't run into significant printing problems of the returns during the 2024 tax season. Please fix this!

I buy TurboTax for Home and Business every year. I do so because I feel locked in because it fills out the portion of the forms that I don't know how to do myself - such as asset depreciation. Every year I'm frustrated at how unintuitive the software is. I also hate that to modify a specific section, I have to click through a whole series of pages that I don't want to edit - EVERY time.
The help menu is the WORST. I have never successfully found an answer to a question about using TurboTax via the TurboTax help. I have always had to resort to Google and more recently to ChatGPT. Intuit, you lobbied the US government to forbid them from providing its citizens with a free software to do their taxes then you charge $100 every year to offer something not very impressive. I guess the joke is on me because I keep buying it.

Problem with Capital Gains Data Entry

For the most part, the software worked fine to do my taxes. I use the Home & Business version. For the first time this year, I had issues with the entry of capital gains. Short terms gains worked fine, but there was a problem entering data when long term gained reported to the IRS was selected. The date fields did not work well. The Date Acquired field did not consistently allow the entering of short dates (ex. 5/6/21) and converting them automatically to standard dates (05/06/2021). Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would give an invalid date error. This was never an issue with the Date Sold field. Short dates always converted. This made it take longer to enter info. Usually after a while the field would work properly. This has never been a problem before, and I have been using Turbotax for many years. Short date format should always convert.
