Patience and determine will win out

My return was rejected several times because of my mistake in transferring the payers EIN to the Turbo Tax form. I had the assistance of about 5 different experts where we corrected several different issues but didn't get the right one till the end. Your expert lead me through each form and each entry until we found my error.
Hopefully this is it. I am waiting for a final acceptance.

Disappointed with having to snail mail tax return

I have used TurboTax for over ten years with oil royalty income. This year it wouldn't allow the Michigan tax return to be e-filed due to filing form 5889. This was extremely disappointing to pay almost $100 for software that I had to snail mail in the state tax return due to software not filling out one form. Other software brands allowed for e-file. I may be switching software for 2025 tax year. There also were no copies of past returns in my account which was also disappointing.

TurboTax is getting better, but not there yet

It is getting better, however, since I use TurboTax every year I would expect the software to fill in information from previous returns instead of having me searching high and low to find this information that should be available from previous years.
