E-FILING SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWD IF IP-PIN MISSING!!!

One star for having my taxes rejected because of not flagging the need for a new IP-Pin each year.
Problem could have been fixed with simple explanatory text on the e-filing page. THIS BUG HAS BEEN AROUND FOR OVER THREE YEARS. THERE IS NO REASON TO ALLOW SUBMISSION TO IRS IF THE IP-PIN IS ABSENT OR HASN'T BEEN UPDATED.

TurboTax lost my work on the tax return

TurboTax failed to save my work, so I lost many hours and had to start again from scratch.
When trying to load the previously saved .tax2024 file - it gave me an error message:
"Looks like your tax file is corrupt, we're having trouble opening your return. Try opening again. If that doesn't solve the problem create a new tax return."
There are many reports of this issue starting back in 2020, and it is very sad the bug hasn't been acknowledged and fixed. The recommended workaround to uninstall and reinstall TurboTax doesn't fix the problem.

IRS asked for spouse's AGI???? WHY????

I filed my 2024 taxes with Married filing jointly, and the IRS rejected my electronic files, asking for my wife's AGI from 2023. We also filed jointly in 2023, so there was only one AGI number. I was forced to mail the taxes in, a day late because of this software bug, or the IRS was wrong.

Excessive extra steps added just to finish taxes. This review is perfect example of additional step. Filing electronic date and time should be correct to where filed from i.e. Hawaii filing HST not PST

Leaving TurboTax After Using It For Over 20 Years

I wanted to submitted a payment with my extension and there was no option this year as there was in previous years.
The amount owed for taxes was bundled into the "Other tax situations" area which is not appropriate. It is amount due. Once it is put into the amount paid for the extension it throws the entire program into a total balance of zero and you can't pay the extension online.
The 1099-T section is a mess. Taxpayers don't pay or owe anything if all 529 payments are correct.
