Disappointed this year

I have been using Turbo Tax for years, past couple of years the Home and Business Version. I had some difficulty with a K-1 form last year and hoped that would be fixed. I thought things would be straight forward this year since most things were the same except a solar credit which was easy to enter. I even took screen shots of what I did last year to help guide through some things... Ran into several new problems this year... There were problems with the k-1 form where got message "box 20 code z has been selected but no section 199A income entered on statement A". But the income was entered and all attempts to fix were not successful. Unfortunately I was doing this the early morning hours of April 15 and unlike prior years had trouble finding support... I did not pay the extra initial $60 fee for advice. I was having trouble getting around this and after spending hours working on my taxes Turbo Tax would not let file before 'fixing this'. I went back and entered some info but then the info appeared deleted and the space was blank. There were several other more minor issues - entering info for money back on foreign taxes on US stock dividends, and some other items. This will likely be my last year using Turbo Tax.

smart Check review process doesn't seem to understand in schedule C, the "If no Business Name, leave blank".
it continually gets stuck and refuses to transmit return until you put something in the box that is otherwise NOT required.

Major problem with ippins required for E-filing.

Turbo Tax requested users to create a 5 digit ippin. I did that a submitted both Federal and State tax returns. Both were rejected because they had the wrong ippins (wife and I). I followed the instructions Turbo Tax provided after the rejection. This is to go to www.irs.gov/get-an-ippin. I logged into my IRS account, and received 6 digit ippins for my wife an I. I then continued to change the ippins to the correct IRS issued ippins. Turbo Tax did not allow the 6 digit pins that we got from the IRS. I filed again, and now I am waiting to hear from the IRS whether this E-File worked.

Software found unresolvable "error" in my return

The filing process was fairly straightforward, but the software identified an "error" on one of my investment account documents that was incorrect. I was unable to proceed with e-filing due to this "error" that was unable to be resolved. I ended up incurring the expense of filing by mail. Thanks.
