Using Turbotax is so easy and simple. I can't imagine what other people do without it. I love the walk through process and the explanations along the way. It makes me feel confident about what I am entering and the accuracy of the information I am filing. Everyone should use TurboTax!

I still like doing taxes on my own even though they have gotten increasing harder with education entries, self-employment, and rental house income. I have been a bit disappointed with the launch of the new additional services as I feel the self-service explanations have gone down. And you are still advertising Mint.com which I thought you had discontinued and merged with CreditKarma. But I will continue to use the product until I get too frustrated.

TT Business Software not as good as I hoped

I added a business and downloaded the Home and Business software. I felt the program was lacking in determining the proper return for the type of business I was adding. It did not order the forms I needed or navigate me through the software as I expected. Software has gotten lazy and is not as intuitive as it once was. I had to sign up for the expert, which may be the reason the software is slipping.

TurboTax has become a Monster

I find tax season incredible stressful and despite TurboTax being created to help make it easier to fill taxes, it currently only adds to the chaos. Taking advantage of urgency of tax season, TurboTax seems to extort money out of people at every corner. The free version is never actually free and even when you do buy it, you still have to pay to file or any additional help you need that the initial purchase failed to cover. The only reason I use TurboTax specifically is that it is the only software that I know of that will import my Robinhood investments. I do appreciate the ease of uploading W-2s and other documents, but I am not proficient in legal language and I don't find many of the explanations helpful enough.

Expert service during tax filing

Product is good but you should not put too many services to buy while filing. Audit defense was the only service for a long time and I end up buying expert service. People are already tensed up filing the taxes, dont know why you are trying to sell products during filing.
