I THOUGHT TURBO TAX WOULD HELP CUSTOMER TO LOOK AT THE IRS TAX PUBLICATION NUMER AT LEAST, INSTEAD OF LEADING TO LET THE CUSTOMER TALK TO AGENT.

I've been using Turbo Tax Home & Business edition for the last several years. Very convenient, easy to understand, and very user friendly interface. Though, I would like to see improvement over the Deduction Section 179. It's not easy to find and understand it.

Turbo Tax Live Help Awesome

Best part of Turbo Tax Software is the Live Experts, they are excellent. Especially Kevin was awesome, even though software had a glitch not lining up multiple K1 line items, he did not give up for hours to help correct it manually and get the numbers right.

On balance, TurboTax (desktop version) was worth it. The few downsides:
1. A bit more tutorial info regarding Roth IRA contribution size calculation would have avoided a mistake I made and then corrected when the dollar amount that appeared was different than I expected.
2. The initial purchase price is attractive, but don't forget upcharges, such as: per-state charges, state e-filing charges, tax audit insurance, real-time tax completion help.
3. Navigation could be improved.

TT OK

For CA state return TT asks to enter amount from worksheet 3, line 5. Cannot find worksheet 3 in the return. TT should have done it automatically. Also, TT charged me $25 to e-file CA state return. Supposed to be free for one state. I will have to follow up for refund.

Text sizes are too small for tired eyes

Running MACOS Sonoma and a 2048x1152 display. font sizes are too small to be easily read. Despite extensive toys, the size cannot be increased in either Turbo Tax or the OS.
