GENERALLY GOOD BUT THERE WERE A FEW SOFTWARE GLITCHES ESPECIALLY REGARDING MY K-1S. I WAS ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT USING TURBO TAX FORUM BUT IT TOOK TOO MUCH TIME.

Better than the alternatives

Seemed a little more buggy than usual this year. Struggled with the treatment of a 1099-NEC that our wonderful IRS requires many online entities to send you (Paypal, Etsy, etc) for money transfers. (these are routinely mis-categorized as NEC). If entered per step by step you can't offset it with a cost basis. Had an invalid EIN number as well! ChatGPT offered better advice than built in help sources. Also navigation is still difficult. When you know you want to revisit a part of the step by step you have to re answer a bunch of questions to get there. Trying to get to estimated taxes for 2025 is also difficult for federal but on the topic list for state.

Poorly put together

This years version was fraught with errors. Despite spending extra on the Deluxe and Business version it had many dropouts on the step by step and I had to continually go to forms to enter my information. it would also lock up and not continue on the state forms to be able to transmit completed forms.
