Clunky and cumbersome. The user interface for the Mac download is state of the art for 2005. And all this brilliance from a company that lobbied the government to keep taxes complicated so they can fleece you every year. Lovely!

Easy to understand. Self guidance is good with all the helpful information at your disposal. Instructions are available that can answer most questions you may have. Price is reasonable for the solftware.

TurboTax is not as good as it claims to be

I was unable to find where to enter SEP IRA contributions. The instructions said to type "SEP IRA Contributions" in the search box then click the jump to button. There was no jump to button. The only thing clickable took me to the instructions; it became a circular exercise. The process for entering annualized income was a disaster. I don't understand why after selecting to enter annualized income information, the default on Turbo Tax was to NOT use annualized income. If I missed unchecking the NOT annualizing button, everything I previously entered is lost and I had to reenter all the information again.
