2024 Desktop version for Mac was disappointing

I recently used **TurboTax Desktop Home & Business 2024 for Mac** to file my taxes and encountered several significant issues that impacted the filing process.

1. **Charitable Donations Not Recognized**
- Despite donating over **$2,000 across three legitimate, IRS-qualified charities**, the software failed to apply the deductions correctly.
- Even after verifying the organizations and re-entering the details, the refund calculation did not reflect these contributions.

The software is easy to use and gives info on unusual circumstances in easy to understand language. For the audit defense, add a question asking if the first return filed is the one you want protected by the free audit defense instead of the first return being the default and no option to change.

when go to e-file and asks for ID... it would not accept it. And did not get an error message. Hit continue and it just took me back to top of page.

Turbo Tax Failed in many ways 2024

Was not happy with Turbo Tax this year and I have used Turbo Tax for several years. Some of the questions were confusing and not pertinet. Not sure if I will continue with Turbo Tax in 2026.
