Please make the forms able to have bigger print. Otherwise, easy to use and makes filing taxes easier. NOT fun, but easier.

2024 Desktop Home & Business -- be very careful
on April 14, 2025

2024 TurboTax desktop home and business buggy...told me to re-enter 1099-DIV data from my brokerage. Doubled the amount of tax liability. Just lucky I caught the error. Shame on you Intuit -- all that money you charge us for a crappy product.

Gals on the phone were good. I had a weird problem that I could not figure out. We had to delete part of my return to make it work.

More hassle than non-pro tax software should be

Easy Step should have links to relevant forms and worksheets for each dialogue box. Terms should be fully defined, e.g. QBI versus Regular tax for passive loss carryover. It should be possible at any point in process to check the amount of itemized deductions listed to that point, and how it compares to standard deduction. There should be clear info about what different colored type for various entries means, e.g. red for overridden. Info like that I had to obtain through web research. Why can’t you put it in the program in margins or pop-up boxes? Too much stuff like that was unexplained and sent me searching the web for 10, 20, 30. minutes or more to get the info.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
