Turbo tax is fairly easy.

I find turbo tax easy to use and I appreciate the download feature of needed documents. I do wish that the explanations were a little more detailed.

Turbo Tax is NOT As Good As Before

Far too much is now hidden -- I used to be able to skip the deductions and just take the standard. I used to be able to view the form from the bottom of the step-by-step screen. Now, when I jumped to forms, it sometimes wouldn't return to the correct part of the s-b-s.

I've been using TurboTax for 20 years. This is the worst program I've ever worked. It is very user unfriendly. Somebody needs to take a programming class and be a real programmer. On a scale to 1 to 10 I will give you a one. Not happy with you at all. You have high charges and a poor sad product.

Where did my mailed forms go?

I used TurboTax for my State income tax return, and printed off the State forms to mail in. Well, the envelope was mailed March 17th with Certified status and hasn't been heard from since. I went back into TurboTax and filed the State forms electronically. It took less than an hour, and cost $20. I'm glad the option to go back and file the State forms electronically was still available. Tomorrow is the 15th, and I may have to spend some time requesting a refund from the USPS.
