I have been using TurboTax for over 15 years. I have never been disappointed with the results. The software makes you aware of all of the areas of your return that helps you reduce your tax burden. E-filing is offered and gives you peace of mind.

Easy Fed/State Tax Filings

I have been using TurboTax for the past 28 years. It easy and complete. With all the documents at hand it usually takes me about 4 hours to do both Federal and State tax filings.

Problem entering State ID on W-2 in Box 11 continu

Tax prep went ok but I had a consistent error concerning the State ID portion of a W-2 for a retirement distribution where there was none provided on the employers W-2. For dozens of attempts the software would not allow me to simply enter "NJ" under the state. After over 45 minutes of trying to reenter it finally took. Pain in the butt. From what I read online this is a known bug that should be able to be ignored but it wasn't. In short, Turbo Tax did NOT follow the employer issued W-2 information and it was aggravating. Almost unable to efile.

Keep on keeping on with TT

The nature of how your product works is logical to the way I think, so your product is the one that I have used for a decade. I used to have someone else do my taxes prior to finding Turbo Tax. The fact that I'm 82 years old and still using it speaks to its functionality.

Been a user for more than 30 years. I don't like the direction this product is going. Making it harder to file things by mail and charging in ordinate amounts for simple banking transactions.
For years you earned a 5 star rating. With the evolution of smart phones and apps, I'm less and less happy with the product.
