Greatly miss the "chat", but still a good tool.

As always, excellent tool for navigating my taxes. I've used TT for nearly two decades, and it continues to deliver. Not interested in the online tool, however. I was, however, extremely disappointed that I could not access a tax professional via chat. This is a real negative - used to really appreciate that option and used it frequently.

Except for Foreign Tax Credit it is fairly easy, Hope you have simpler approach for people with 1099 DIv & Foreign Tax paid & to get TAX CREDIT Than Itemized deduction.

The deductions requiring data entry only to be told use the standard -- a better method

Stop asking for downloads use a check box.

Be prepared to pay more than you expect

The basic product is priced attractively, but every additional feature you need is more expensive. To prepare/file in a second state, I had to pay the exact amount I paid for the basic product (federal taxes and one state), which doubled the cost of my service.
This isn't very pleasant because you just learn about the additional costs when you have invested too much time typing your information. Also, I bought a service by mistake, and it was impossible to cancel the order.

Corrupt TT 2024 PDF.

1. Better this year showing a QBI Deduction Summary, but deduct some points because i had to take a screenshot to save.
2. something corrupted with PDF. 2024 pdf renders all pages, but when go to print, Schedule-E prints blank, then form 8995 prints one page then remainder of 16-55 are blank, maybe a few lines. I created 2024 pdf 2x with same result. No, its not my printer or Adobe PDF because my 2023 TT tax return pdf printer all 55 pages flaweleslly. I had to print 5 pages at at time and reprinted pages that printed blank.

Easy taxes

I have used TurboTax Home and Business for 20 years. I like how the program walks you through everything and makes taxes easier than doing it all on paper forms. I did manual forms for close to 30 years before using TurboTax.
