Turbo Tax is ALMOST Dummy-Proof

Turbo Tax is awesome! It's so easy to use! Yes; it's getting more and more costly, as years go by, but WHAT ELSE isn't...? Their "Guide Me" process is almost dummy-proof.

TurboTax headache

I have been a user all the way back to Mac-In-Tax. For the first time, I had repeated problems with TurboTax. In the end, I had to abandon a 95% complete federal return and start from scratch, and take every step in the process rather than skipping irrelevant sections.
I posted my problems on the community web page, and except for one, the responses were worthless.

Very helpful in identifying and filling out the complex forms by asking you standard human questions, not the IRS tax legalese.

Change in display of interest, divs & cap gains

I'm very disappointed with the way interest, dividends and capital gains are now listed and displayed on the step-by-step. Instead of an easy to read list/chart as in all past years, they are now displayed in large "bubbles" that make it very hard to review and make sure you have everything, and also to compare to previous years. This is a downgrade to me.
