Easy to use. But still takes a long time. Could increase agreements with Financial institutions for automated tax forms such as TRowe.

Easy backfires to more difficult and confusing

In general, a solid product. However, the program tries to be too smart and sometimes makes things more difficult and/or more confusing. For example, when starting a new return, it shows you PDF and *.tax files it finds on your computer. If you saved PDF versions as well as the *.tax file, you get you a list of duplicates to pick from. Show me the extension of the file please! Or some clue as to what I am selecting.
I'm not sure if selecting the PDF or the *.tax is better but again, TT tried to make it easy but instead made it confusing and more difficult.
Same is true when downloading 1099s. TT doesn't remove or replace the old ones brought in from the previous return. The list of 1099s gives you no clue as to which one is which, requiring all to be opened before deleting the ones you don't need. BTW, the list show on a desktop is formatted for web/mobile and requires way too much scrolling.
The up selling is bearable but still an annoyance.

Good, but still falls short

It make it as easy as it can be to get the taxes done. It is a more than a bit frustrating that as a "registered domestic partner" in CA that you have to buy the desktop version, and then it still won't even let you efile your state taxes, even after your federal returns are individually accepted.
