TT could be improved.

Live support was good. Some support felt they had to rush. They were told by TurboTax to only talk to client for 15 minutes. Completely unreasonable. It can take that long to understand the issue.
TurboTax needs to allow the client to print individual pages. Software could be easier to wok with. I can say from experience since I have used TT for more than 30 years.

Issue with NOL Calculations for State Return

I think there might be an error with the NOL calculation for MN State Returns. I was prompted to enter the deferred NOL I had entered on my federal return into my state return, so I did. When I went to review my files before submitting, I noticed Turbo Tax had counted the NOL twice for state, because the NOL was already included in the AGI calculation from federal. The software should pull the NOL out from the AGI when starting the state return and allow me to enter the NOL deduction for state so it can be applied based on state rules for NOL, which are sometimes different than the federal rules. Otherwise, at least prevent users from entering it twice unknowingly.

I've been using this product for years. It's ok. I sincerely wish they would use some language in the explanations that isn't written by CPA's with an extensive background in tax code. It makes so little sense to the average person.

How to work receving a 1099-NEC

Please improve and/or expand how to handle receiviing a 1099-NEC. Not clear that receiving a 1099-NEC means working through a Scedule C when one does not have a business set up.
