Turbo tax is great

User friendly and comprehensive. Easy to follow instructions. Elemination of the CD is burdensome with the download instructions and not concise that leaves you lost in the process.

Turbo tax makes me anxious

Still a lot of circular traps in the process while filling out the taxes. No idea where the mistake is and need to spend time outside of Turbo Tax - like ChatGPT to get answers. Every year there's about 2 issues that traps me and makes me spend time to proceed further. In the end you are uncertain if you've used the best options or if you've overpaid your taxes.

Turbo Tax - the easy solution

Turbo Tax has always been an easy solution to doing taxes. I would have given a 5 but the push to e-file the state taxes at a fee, is just a bit too much. I had to print in order to mail them, and it came with an e-file form. I pay enough for the program; filing should be free.

TurboTax seems to be getting less automated

I'm disappointed there were several places within the software where the software told me to go look up information that was contained either elsewhere in the current return, or in last year's return. I don't think I have ever experienced that before. TurboTax always just pulled in teh numbers for me, and at most, asked me to verify. It took extra steps to open up last years' return, or to open forms while in step-by-step and do a search.

Always easy to use. The interview style is easy to work through and switching to the actual forms to see how the answers translate is perfect.
