Too many extra charges, Will look at competition

Far too many add on costs. The per state return cost is outrageously expensive. I was a beta user for the original turbo tax and am finally considering a different product both due to cost and functionality.

Not for year-over-year use

The guidance provided is mixed - in some cases it is basically just a rehash of the IRS instructions. For the home and business version, I would have expected more examples. Also, there is no disclosure that even the downloaded version of this software will no longer work after three years. My desktop version of TurboTax 2020 will not open and I was not told this until I called TurboTax support. For business expenses and deductions that carry across multiple years, not to mention a need to refile, this is serious flaw.

Could not do taxes without it!

I don't know what I would do without it! A concern I ran into this year was that the first review I did failed to pick up on the fact that our SS income data was missing. I thought I had input it, but perhaps I forgot to save that version. Fortunately I noticed it before I got too close to filing.
