Love It, Always Have, But . . .

I've been doing my own taxes all my life, very few of those with a short form, and with TurboTax for over a decade. I've always rated it FIVE stars because of the ease of use. This year's was a struggle, mainly because of the RMD reporting instructions. My situation is the same as it was last year, but the way this year's instructions had me complete specifying how much I withdrew from various funds versus what the Required Total needed to be were very confusing. I searched your forum and got a couple of hints, then realized my Total Required was still off, so I made changes until everything was correct. Last year's was much simpler.

Turbo tax fine for simple returns but for complex

Does fine with simple returns. Every year, I have issues with a more complicated return. This year program did not handle form 8881 well. Known error from last year and still not fixed.
