2024 Turbo Tax works

26th Year of Turbo Tax

Overall, my experience was positive but similar to past years, I did hit some issues that were a little complex. But taking some additional time and carefully working through any difficult areas, I was able to reach conclusions. Over the 26 years that I have been using Turbo Tax (most of them using "Home and Business"), I have managed to complete every year's tax returns (Federal & State) and have never had the IRS contact me or audit me. Although I have not yet received my 2024 refund, notice was that my Return has been accepted. So, I suppose that my record stands!

It could more clearly tell us what forms must be mailed in for capital gains whose basis was not reported to the IRS.

Works well except with filing multiple states.

Disappointed that Turbo Tax does not send DR-1778 to Colorado with the other states forms attached. And the 1099-PATR is not supported in Home and Business version and could not file a representative that was familiar with the 1099-PATR form. It would helpful if search would take you to the correct form for input, ex. 199 income.
