Confusion

I have found that in previous years the investment income section was less confusing than the past two years .have been. Too much info provided required more instructions. Reasons given to me for the delay in printing W-2s made me think the delay was because I had keyed something wrong. The delay was because of IRS and that reason should have been given.

Turbo Tax Excels Again!!!

I have been preparing and filing our Income Taxes with TurboTax for over 20 years. I find it extremely helpful to walk through all of our identifiable Income and Deduction entries. Even though our Taxes have become more complex over the years, with Home-Based Business, Self-Employment Income, Retirement Income and Medical Expenses, the TurboTax Home-Business version still serves us very well.

Terrible, terrible product.

Last year with CD ROM the software successfully loaded previous year documents, so I did not have to enter everything again. This year it could not find previous year return, neither on my computer nor on your website. When it found PDF of the previous year return on my computer it could not transfer anything.
Terrible!!! Last year everything was working just fine. When I went to Intuit website, no help, just continuous idiotic offerings to buy more useless services. No help. Terrible. No phone number to call. Your product and services getting worse year by year. Fire your marketing department.

This year your software changed values and personal information on its own. I do not know if that means someone else has accessed the software and used my husband's information to try to file under his name using a different date of birth, but my initial filing was rejected. I did not change his date of birth in your system, I let the system enter the information from last year's return. It changed the date of birth, and I did not catch it. I have used it without incident in the past with no errors. This year I encounter several errors. I have been using TurboTax for a very long time, and this has never happened before please purge your system looking for identity thief issues. If Desktop version is not offered next year, I will be forced to change my software for filing my return. The cloud is not for me, Thank you.
