I have used turbo tax for 25+ years to prepare and file my taxes. I am self employed, own rental units, have installment sales dividends and interest to report.
Today was the very first time I have used a live turbo tax expert. The young lady was knowledgeable, took the time and helped me with the 14 errors in my 1040 federal tax return summary. In no time I was relieved to be able to make the corrections which i had been struggling with for two days.
thanks to a very helpful, patient turbo tax rep. I was able to file my 1040 taxes and the federal has already been accepted. Thank you and the young lady who assisted me today

Not good experience at all

Really disappointed this year. I ran out in November so I could gain a clear picture of tax liability based upon IRA withdrawals and Roth Conversions. A part of the program that was not ready until way too late. Then the program would only let me have Florida as our free State return!!! Florida has no State income tax! And every Fed return I was preparing needed Illinois State return!
