Very Solid Tax Software Package

Very well built, good screen-by-screen windows that open to provide a better definition of the topics. Handled all necessary inputs as part of my small consulting business.

Hello I wanted to give TurboTax a higher rating and still think it's the best. My problem is my husband passed away March of 2025. So, I have to do his tax for 2024. He had been ill with no updated driver's license or ID. His checking account and credit cards are closed. When I go to e-file for him the payment options indicate it is coming from him and not me. I used my checking account which I hope works. I will have the same situation for TY 2025. Fingers crossed it will get processed.

I used another tax software for 20 years. I discovered TurboTax last year and will never go back! So much easier to use and I love the choice of "walk me through it" or choose my topics.

Turbotax asked us to accept a credit card charge, as part of asking us how we wanted to pay our taxes. It appeared that there was no other way to pay our taxes. It took a call to Intuit to learn that Turbotax was asking us to pay for the stafe filing fee of $25. There was no information that could have told us this. Fortunately, my sleuthing skills found a phone number and way to get to the tech support team. Without that we would have had to send our taxes by mail with a check. Otherwise, ,the program functioned well.
