Have to buy a new computer

have to buy a new computer in order to use this product for my 2025 taxed because Turbo Tax will not support Windows 10 after this year

It can be gotten to work, with help from Google.

As always, I had to look up many questions on google.
For paying state tax, Turbo Tax routed me to set up an account with Utah Taxpayer Access Point to pay my tax. Then on subsequent screens offered a choice of electronic payment via TurboTax or by payment by check, but not via Utah Taxpayer Access Point.

Rip OFF with the $40.00 REFUND charge!

I spoke with the support team and was pleasure. The support tech was very thorough with the process. She logged onto my computer and walked me through the process to complete the section of Turbo Tax that I needed some guidance.

TurboTax: The best alternative but has drawbacks.

Pretty helpful for doing tax returns; however, two GLARING issues for me, the first may prevent my use in the future (if Trump doesn't banish income taxes first):
1) Intuit is sunsetting support for Windows 10. I bought this computer ONLY for financial use, and I ONLY use it for Turbo Tax (no browsing, email, anything else.) I DO NOT want to switch to Windows 11. You need to rethink this upgrade requirement, or start supporting Linux (my preference would be Fedora) for Desktop TurboTax (and keep supporting Desktop versions).
2) Form overrides are sometimes necessary. TurboTax has the mechanism to do this but now (at least in some instances) complains during the check that there are "errors" if overrides have been made. This is unacceptable. I have had to make one override for several years now and still be able to e-file. I tried to do another different one this year, but in that case (form 8949 adjustment of REALIZED GAIN as provided for in IRS instructions) TurboTax allowed me to make it in an override but then told me that doing an override was an error and to back it out or not be able to e-file. If a valid adjustment override will be disallowed, it should be handled in the interview process.
