Great software but too many interim sales pitches!

The software is easy to use. I have been a user since it was Mac in Tax, all the way back to about 1984 -- every single year. But this year, while they have made some great improvements, is so burdened with sales pitches masked as helpful hints really took the cake. These little pitches make the process so much slower and confusing. I'll be looking for a new product next year after I finish my three returns.

I have to file in two states, and I do my daughters taxes as well and I keep seeing references in her return win the second state so its confusing

I do like Turbo Tax. My only complaint is changes made to the "interview" process from year to year can be a bit confusing. This year I was able to navigate with only minor issues.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years. the only way I file. really like being able to e-file. I also like the updates on when returns are accepted, and refunds are paid.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
