Poor Update Follow-Through

The lack of an adequate Turbotax update for Colorado in April caused my state return to be rejected while my federal e-filing was accepted. The TTax fix for this was a new update and re-filing, which did not work because the state return depended on the federal return, and the TTax program did not allow the accepted duplicate federal return and newly updated state return to be refiled electronically. The program's options forced me to file the state return by mail and cancel Audit Defense.

Awesome tax tool, but remember this one step...

For the most part a great tool to use, but one frustrating issue is to remember to click RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR under Properties before you start entering data, or else you the program crashes stating that it is READ ONLY and none of your input data is saved.

Mediocre Product - Seems to get worse each year

Tricky to find specific help. Even trickier to find specific entries. Your revised screen to look for and edit 1099 info, etc., is AWFUL. Unnecessarily large individual boxes. Screen "grays out" when attempting to delete an item. The "Confirm" button is hidden and you have to non-intuitively scroll to the TOP (not the bottom) to find it. Really, whoever came up with this needs to find a new job. Simply terrible. The rest of the product is OK, I guess.

Need improvement with State Taxes

The state product can get confusing. I had to look up many items. You definitely need to improve questions and forms for K-1s . There are many things I needed to add that were not asked. This has cost me money in prior years.
