Using Turbo Tax since 1991

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1991 and love it. I would never switch. In 1991, I had just moved to another state and went to one of the national tax centers in the mall. They told me I owed money. I asked several questions, and they just shrugged their shoulders. I took my paperwork, purchased Turbo Tax and got an $800 refund. I was hooked for life.

Not good at the details

Had my incorrectly purchase a different state from my home state, when that was not required as I 100% work from home so I did not need to purchase the additional state. Now sure how turbtax did not ask me question t determine this.

Cumbersome, bug in update

I've used TurboTax more than 10 years. Lately it just feels cumbersome - a lot of clicks, and step by step wizard that requires scrolling the screen for every step (on a large monitor even!). This year there was a software error message every time you run update. The lame solution ("Set file permissions on the folder and run as administrator") took two sessions and a long time of searching to discover. I'll probably use again for continuity, but was disappointed with it this year.
