Turbo Tax is great, except for filing extensions.

Please let me adjust my Estimated Taxes to the exact dollar that I want on the Federal forms, just like I can on some of the State forms. I should be able to manually input the exact amount of Estimated taxes that I want to make, without Turbo Tax fighting my every move. And, the Federal Form 4868 Extension of Time to File does not transfer the payment made on the extension's TT site to my Federal Schedule 3 or my Federal 1040. I have had this problem for years and you still have not fixed it. I first do all my taxes, all the way through, then, when I find out I need an extension, I go back and insert it, always before mailing my taxes. But, TT does not subtract my extension's payment from the amount I owe on my 1040 and it looks like I never made a payment with my extension. This needs to be fixed!

Glitch Found!

Found an aggravating little bug this year! Under K1 Box 20 Code Z 199A. TT said no 199A amount was entered. But it was. Under "we need more info about 199" I entered the correct amount of UBIA qualified property on my K1 Statement A. Turns out TT did not auto enter the Statement A "Ordinary Business Income" (which should automatically forward from Box 1 as the same value). Error fixed but it was very frustrating to track down!

Schedule E nightmare!

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 years. Never had any issues from beginning to submitting my returns. However, this year was great until time for submission. It kept sending me to my Schedule E and it took 2 hours to figure out what needed to be entered before I could submit my returns. The information should have been automatically entered correctly when I was doing the return, but there is a glitch somewhere.

Trubo Tax needs work on disasters and download inf

The way to review Interest, dividends and stock transactions after download was very confusing and to intuitive. When a taxpayer experienced more than one disaster was not able to enter properly. for example, in Florida we experienced three.

I've been using TurboTax for years and somehow the program gets less user friendly and more difficult to use each year. Will be looking at other programs next year.
