Worst version of Turbo Tax I've ever used.

I don't like the updated graphic interface in the Step-by-Step mode. It seems really dumbed down and clunky compared to previous versions.

Excellent Tax Software

Been using it for about 10 years works great. Only issue is when you check for errors it brings up the popup box and requests you change a value or check a box , it would be nice to be able to click on a button to bring up the worksheet instead of having to navigate to "forms" in the right corner. And a better explanation of the error and how to correct it would be nice instead of guessing. Also when adding Home Offices it should be made clearer otherwise you wind up adding a second Home Office to the same person. Maybe a box where you can choose the person the office is being added to would be better.

TurboTax needs to improve populating Form 8606

Generally good, but every single year, it's very hard to do the 1099-R stuff. This is because TurboTax doesn't fill out all the items/rows in Form 8606 even when it has the information to enable doing so. Something that was complicated last year was fixed and easy this year, so that's good. But this year, I had a different situation concerning this same subject matter occur. I was able to eventually figure it out after spending a lot of time on it, but I shouldn't have had to do that. When I have to print out forms and fill them out by hand in order to understand things because TurboTax isn't populating information in the forms, it defeats the purpose of paying for software to simplify filing tax returns. I should not have to do this... i.e. spend a ton of time figuring out why the software isn't populating forms with information I have provided to it in order to have confidence that the forms are filled out correctly. I can do taxes by hand and avoid such problems.
