Turbo Tax is not there yet!

When ordering the product or efiling State returns, your pop-up screens where it is necessary to click on the light blue bar, the pop-up are too large. The blue bar is hidden at bottom of my computer screen, out of the ability to click on it. For example, I ordered efile for a state return, and after I paid the efile fee, but afterwards, I could not click on the blue bar. I suppose it would have shown me how much additional I had to pay (taxes, shipping, and handling, but I could not see that. That's a serious flaw.

Wouldn't Let Me E-file

I don't have Healthcare Marketplace insurance but Turbo Tax wouldn't allow me to e-file until I completed a form saying I did. No matter what I did my taxes would not e-file because of that. I called the IRS, who told me to call Healthcare.gov, who confirmed that I do not have Healthcare Marketplace insurance. They recommended I file my taxes by paper... what a pain. I've used TurboTax for a decade but think I'll look for something different next year.

2024 was a rough year

Turbo Tax continues, after several decades, to be my primary tax program. Although, 2024 was a rough year. Updates were delayed and some forms not ready until late in February. Manual overrides were necessary in property taxes just to generate an estimate. Some help subjects were incomplete and supporting forms hard to generate. Definitely NOT your best year. And I still have to have a dedicated Windows 10 machine to run it. Wake up people, you need to support everything from Windows 7, Apple and Linux. At this point, when you drop Win10, I drop you. Otherwise, see you next year.
