Satisfactory, but not Exceptional

Product works reasonably well, but is expensive. Navigation is a bit clunky. Does not manage K-1's very well especially on the state side.

TurboTax needs some flexibility

Could not file the IL state return as TT does not include US Treasury Interest reported on Schedule B instead of Line 3 of 1099-Int. If you override the line for US Treasury Interest you are not allowed to electronically file. I used Department of IL Revenue form to submit the IL State return. This is not a new problem nor a problem you are not aware of based on the chat exchange. Advice from the Chat don't use TT for IL Return. Need a way to make changes to this item somewhere to allow electronic filing.

Good, but confusing with K1s

I completed the return by myself with no problems other than the K1s, especially section about Section 199 income. This took quite a while and Turbo tax seemed to pick up incorrect information because it was a loss.

Had to call Turbotax support to e-file. Credit card expiration YEAR drop down list has no entry for the year 2025. Also, software has no search feature. When I open a form, the software doesn't allow me to move to the step-by-step location, so I may continue my return at the associated point. This is pretty simple stuff, and it suggests to me that the product may not be getting ergonomic upgrades or tested before placed in service.

I have been using TT for several years. Previous years were easier to use. Got hung up when I tried to e-file. Not happy about mailing it in. Questionable about using this next year.
