The retirement section is not able to update the form if the user makes changes to the selection from Roth IRA to Traditional IRA or vises versa. Otherwise, it is an awesome product. I have been using it for the past 30 some years. Every year it gets better and better. Just this year...mmmm...

I have used TurboTax for about 20 years now. I've never had a problem with my filing while using it. It is relatively easy to use and relatively quick. It also provides me with a good year in review rather than having an accountant do it.

Problem with electronic filing.

I've been using Turbo Tax every year for more than 25 years. I really like the product and prior to 2020 would have given a 5 star rating. In 2020 I experienced loses due to a federal wildfire disaster and received a settlement. In order to avoid paying taxes on the settlement, I had to include a cover letter with my return explaining why I wasn't including the settlement on my tax form. Turbo Tax does not provide any means to include a cover letter with the tax return and file it electronically. I have been forced to file by mail for 5 years since the disaster, tax years, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. This is inconvenient and cumbersome. Please provide a method for a short one page cover page to be included with the electronic filing. Due to this issue, I cannot give a rating any higher than 3 stars.

Tiny font size on screen and no way to enlarge it

Still the same old problem of tiny tiny font sizes and no way to enlarge the text size. This has been going on for a decade or more and people have been complaining about it but nothing ever gets done! This is Turbotax's so called "we're listening"! Right.

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1989. It came free with a computer purchase. It works for me. And as far as I know, is the best package out there. However, every year, I am dissatisfied with it. Particularly when I decline an extra service, when I go back to add details, that service continues to be pimped.
