TurboTax is as glitchy and full of errors as usual

As usual, every year there is some stupid issue that I spend way too much of my personal time trying to trouble shoot with someone at TT because they are too lazy/greedy to troubleshoot their own products. This year, it was 2 months before I could get the desktop software to print to pdf AND now I can't efile my State return because TT can't connect to my Intuit account to charge me the fee.

Don't Believe Them About Their Fees

Throughout the whole return it kept telling me I would have to pay $20 to e-file the State return. I was getting a refund from federal and state and it said I could have it deducted from my state return. Then when I go to e-file my returns it wants $25 but not just that, then it says it's taking $40 from my federal return and I HAVE to e-file the federal return in order to e-file my state. Then when I tell it to go ahead and deduct it from my federal, I was getting $52 back, it tells me that's not enough and wants my charge card. Since when is $52 not enough to cover $40? Guess What, You're not getting anything now. I e-filed the federal for free and I'm mailing my state return. If you want to be that greedy, I can save my hard earned money.

Completed my 2024 Tax Return with Turbotax

I used the 2024 TurboTax Home & Business version software to complete my taxes. I did not have any trouble with the software or entering in all of my tax information. I use the Step-by-Step method but pick and choose the topics I need to go through. I have been using Turbotax for years and my tax situation is pretty much the same year after year. I am satisfied with the results the software produces.

Good for year to year, not good for partnership K1

Used to work very well for me, but I started receiving multiple K1 forms, and those are very manually intensive. TT doesn't even support many of the codes provided by the partnerships.

I have used turbo tax for years without any problems. This year I had multiple problems with downloading the product and getting error messages during updates.
