Turbo Tax miscounts 5 tax returns for efiling

Efile couldn'tt be done because Turbo Tax miscounts the returns. We efiled 3 (no charge). The fourth one was unable to be efiled.

Turbo Tax is the best!

I have used turbo tax every year except for 1(sold out everywhere) since before 1990. I like that it is user friendly and that I can get someone on the phone when needed. I spoke with Alicia on 3/31/2025 9am for assistance with an S-1099 that I was having difficulty with and she patiently walked me through how to fix my problem. I would give her 5 stars also for excellent customer service.

It was not as user friendly this year as in year's past. For example, when importing documents, the steps were not clear after the document was imported, it was not clear where to go next to view the documents. I found myself in a loop I couldn't seem to get out of and kept importing the documents multiple times.

Problems w/ institution 3rd party data.

A couple of problems and negative experiences. Import from TD Ameritrade did not work for 4 weeks or longer and finally you got it working. No easy way to get information or assistance as to why this was erroring out with poor and odd error messages. Also, I always have to go through transactions every year to validate cost amounts and dates of sale for options. I import several hundreds of pages of transactions as I trade frequently. Interfaces in the same area need work and not tested thoroughly. Kept showing me the error for 1 transaction but when I put in answers for cost data and date data it entered it for another transaction (this is a bug).
