Not as good as last 15 years product. Here's why:
1. Difficult to install with login to existing Intuit account.
2. Very glitchy. For example, froze after PA 40 software was installed. Had to restart PC

Bad entry system for investment income topics.

I am very unhappy with the changes made to record interest and dividends. There is too much going back and forth using "pulling in your investments". The software was much easier to use when there were separate topics for interest, dividends, capital gains, etc.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

TurboTax is Excellent!

The software is excellent. There are a few areas I'd like to see changed. It would be better if the yes / no questions were all the same with a selection next to the answer, then a continue button, and then it would be great if the selected answer would be maintained even after returning to the form several times. I did not chat with a live person while completing the taxes.

Yes!!!!!!! The TurboTax Team is the Best, The live Agents are Super, Very knowledgeable, honest and patient, they are the best i have ever encountered, I probroly would have more hair if they were around fourteen years ago when i started using TurboTax. Thanks Nialle & Valena you are Godsend.

not easy to find how to fix a mistake

I answered a question incorrectly on my state purchased insurance. Turbo tax stuck some number in my Schedule C and I could not find the questions again and fixing it was extremely difficult. I have been using Turbo tax for 20 years and it seems to have less user friendly over the years. So much for progress

Completed filing with confidence

Filing taxes is not easy, but Turbo Tax eases a lot of the difficulty and provides a lot of confidence. I've used it several years running, so it's familiar, and I know what to expect and look for when something seems questionable. It's a very helpful tool.

I used the desktop version. The software is great, but for a first-time user it has a steep learning curve about where things are. I had to contact the help desk a few times and they showed me how to use the Search function to navigate. It would be better if the software showed a "tree" of where things are stored.
I did get help from an expert CPA. I find that your advisors are very familiar with the Online version of Turbotax but not as much with the desktop version.
