TurboTax is a Professional Quality Tool

TurboTax Desktop is a powerful tool for those who want to do their own tax filings and save the money of hiring a professional preparer. The data entry process can be tedious, and understanding how TT calculates the amounts in the return is sometimes difficult, but ChatGPT helps a lot. (Much better to ask ChatGPT for help than to try to use TT help.)

Very impressed with the easy to use sections. I prepared returns for 40+ years with very expensive and comprehensive returns for businesses and individuals. Turbo Tax was not only less expensive, it was as comprehensive as my expensive soft ware.

I am a long-time user of Turbo Tax, and I recommend using Turbo Tax to others. I am familiar with its approach and how it works. In particular, I appreciate the interview approach and how the software carries forward information from year to year. Turbo Tax works well for me, but the software and application of updates can be slow at times. I begin working up my returns in February but wait until March to submit my returns to allow the application of updates during February and early March.

I have used TurboTax for years and have always been satisfied with the service. I have had others try to tell me to switch to another program and i have avoided that. I find the program very easy to use and even in the more complex parts it is not hard to follow their instructions.
