I have been using TurboTax for years. Love it. This year was a little more difficult because of my macular degeneration and the size and color or the TurboTax text.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax needs upgraded

Hause Turbotax to complete my S corp 1120 form but the data from that form does not flow over into the personal tax products. Seems like this would be an easy upgrade to make.

Turbo Tax - Accurate but clumsy.

Although I do believe that the technical aspects (accounting rules, IRS and state requirements) are accurate I find that the software itself is a bit "clumsy" and not all that intuitive.....but I have felt this way since I began using TT for over 15 years.

Always a last minute glitch!

Pretty good until the very end. Then the app got stuck repeatedly claiming a mistake even after I filled the form with a checkmark that indicated the form did not need to be filed. I ended up printing and filing by mail. Wasted a great deal of time on this, and it caused serious anxiety and aggravation when I least needed it.

I used the TT 2024 Home and Business desktop product. I prefer the Desktop version as it is easy to view the forms, worksheets, etc. as you prepare your return. I experienced no issues at all this year. Would recommend to all.
