TurboTax is not easy to use.

My tax return file is ready to e-file, and I clicked the " Transmit Returns Now", you should e- file my federal tax return file. but you didn't file it, just asked me the same question again, again and again. I think because I choose file state tax return by mail not by e-file. Do I must e-file state tax return at the same time with federal tax return? If you charge about $5 for state e-file, I'll chose it.

not happy this year with multiple situations

I have used Turbo tax many years and this was the worst experience I have had with it. many confusing and conflicting questions, had to help my daughter amend hers for a mistake that I feel turbo tax software should have easily identified. Also had to request a refund for a paid state file that I was unable to use for some reason, had to start over.

As our personal income tax environment becomes ever more complicated, TT is generally a useful tool to unlock some of the arcanae that make the task daunting without long experience or stout defenses against the dark art of Government-Speak in rules and instructions for filing. There are some areas that are still prone to confusion and this can make the results still more opaque than I think the programmers want it to be.

TurboTax is the" best" Tax Processing Software.

I used to be in the tax profession. Then President Jimmy Carter said he was going to request simplification of the tax return process. From that day on, tax return processing got more and more complicated. Intuit Turbo tax has made that complicated tax return process possible for the average citizen. Thank you.
