Not as intuitive as in years past

TurboTax was not nearly as intuitive as in years past; very difficult to find things - I like to go back and forth between the forms to fill them out myself and then use the step-by-step to match my work with that of TT. It was much harder to do this year. Finding what I needed was very difficult - it was easier in years past.

Stress Reducing Tax Prep Software

TurboTax Home and Business has been my tax resource since starting my small business in 2006. The 2024 version is the simplest and easy to use version yet. I am truly appreciative of the "stress reduction" this software provides and is a one of the best business purchase values I receive annually.

Could be more guidance and upgrade options

Filing of my personal return was OK (have done this for 25 years). I had to file a return for a trust as well as my personal return. Had TT prompted me with a message / offer to upgrade to TT Business to create a return for the trust (which is like a business, S-Corp) and the associated guidance to generate (the appropriate) K-1s for trust beneficiaries and subsequently incorporated those K-1s to my personal return I would have done it. Navigating the TT website to find out if/how this could be done was painful. TT could also offer better help and tutorials for this situation, which I suspect will become more common as our society ages and experiences more wealth transfer.
