Turbo tax home and business 2024

Horrible, every click goes to not responding. In addition to the not responding issue, it would cycle back to the previous step multiple times. it's so slow it took over 2 hours to get through the simple return. If i could give it zero stars i would. There are so many internal conflicts in this program it is JUNK! Why would you put this on the market in this condition?

The Industry Standard

Overall it is the standard in the industry, been an accountant for 35 years and have used it, along with other CPA certified software, since 1989. Turbo Tax is by far the most user friendly. Software can only do so much, consult a Tax Accountant for complex situations. Planning in advance if paramount. Turbo Tax is sufficient for most people. Joe Vera, International Accountant.

overall product quality is excellent. the capability to review and transfer between IRS forms and the interview process is a nice feature. I did notice there were some summary forms that did not populate properly when comparing federal 2023 forms with 2024 forms. The 2023 data was either missing or incorrect as stated on the interview screen. the IRS tax forms were correct.
Also, I have noticed, your interview questions that help clients record 'back door' Roth conversions is a bit cryptic. please make this more straightforward (using MAC IOS).

Some of Turbo Tax is GOOD, & some is NOT good

The overall Tax Software Package is good. BUT
- When saving same file in various versions (i.e. Return ONLY, With Key Calcs, with ALL Calcs), the software forces to save with the SAME File name. Thereby REPLACING the PREVIOUS version saved with the NEW version of the SAME Tax File. So one can save ONLY ONE version and NOT to or ALL THREE versions.
- FORMS: Same as the above applies to saving Forms.

Turbo Tax very good.

I do my taxes every year with Turbo Tax and I like it. I can find all the answers and with Turbo Tax it's feels much easier. Thank you for such a good program.
