TurboTax makes it easy to prepare and file your taxes. The additional of the Contact a Tax Expert was a wonderful service. For the last several years I have had unusual issues with my Federal and State tax returns. Being able to speak with a tax expert made preparing my returns SO MUCH EASIER! Thank you for adding this option!! The two tax experts that assisted me were experts and spent many hours debugging my returns this year.

LAKING CONTINUITY OF INFORMATION

NEED TO HAVE A SCREEN THAT WILL SHOW THE ACTUAL 1099 INFORMATION UPLOADED FROM THE VARIOUS INVESTMENT FIRMS. IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE A 1099 INPUT

Turbo Tax accomplishes the goal mostly

Mostly good but button for how to file an amended prior year return did not work. Getting to bottom of screen to ask a question was blotted out by my task bar. You need to make it easier to just ask a question and place it at the top of the drop down screen, not the bottom.

Doesn't Provide Info Compared to Previous Year

Every year I spend considered time researching answers to tax questions. It would be helpful, if Turbo Tax indicated how the same question was answered on the previous years, so I wouldn't waste time. The software often defaults (i.e., highlights) response to questions, that are not consistent with my current response or indicative of how I answered the same queston last year.

Why not save information entered

Everything is fine until efile then it asks for the same information over and over and then needs to do an update and reboot the computer after entering this information and you have to go back and enter information again?????? Why not check the update before gathering the information?????

Still issues with downloading 1099r financials from brokerages where electronic download info has to be manually deleted. TurboTax needs a reminder to those who miss this download problem which doubles income numbers.

I've been using TurboTax for decades and will continue. This year, I used Home and Business. One complaint this time which I don't recall dealing with before: on the tax review part, two "mistakes/problems" were noted but the pop-up windows explaining them were uninterpretable! I finally figured out one, and the other I just finally bypassed. Hope it doesn't get me flagged!
Not a problem, but just saying: the terms & conditions part of this review page is way too long, unnecessary, and silly. We are doing a favor for TurboTax and shouldn't have to go thru your out-of-touch lawyers.
