Overall, it is still a good product.

I will start with the good. They have simplified the entry process, and it is noticeably easier to complete. The bad is it is tedious to complete the initial download process. It was much easier in the past. Overall, it is still a good product.

Get your adult children using Turbo Tax!

Can't say enough good things about Turbo Tax. Have used it for years. If you get your college students/adult children using turbo tax themselves they will come to understand their taxes, become financially proficient and learn ways to save money early on!

A big problem with filing the state by mail...

Check your instructions. You have to say file by mail when the federal tax comes up in order to print the state return. Otherwise it forces you to e-file the state.

ALSO: I have used Turbo Tax for many years and will continue to do so. It may not be your fault but I think this new version has entirely too many questions that are needlessly repeated. It takes twice as long to do this as it did 5 years ago. I realize there are mandatory questions, but it is getting longer and longer. And the connections with Fidelity NEVER work. My attitude is important. So your advice not to indicate attitude is a little bit defensive, I think, it shows your attitude.

This program is easy to use until you want to get back to your work. Then it was impossible for me. Not matter what I tried to do, I was in a loop and could not get back to it. I am grateful I saved it because I could go to my finder and pull it up FINALLY. It would not hurt to add a chat.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
