You have an error with your software KY 740-NP-R will not print and you dont provide a way for me to report it

Year to year use is always good and easily done; as easy as the government allows.
The software is too expensive. I will need to explore other options.
1099-NEC e-filing did not work this year on the laptop.

Logic bugs in filing really stupid

There are a lot of logic bugs around filing. TT does not seem to be able to deal with wanting to efile fed and mail in state. Also it took several minutes to get through captcha's I am not a robot. Including having to reset my default browser. I am a home and business user and I expect better.

TurboTax is very good, help could be better

TurboTax is, for the most part, great. However, the search and help features seemed to be broken this year. FAQs and Help directed me to use Search, but the search did not provide the correct information—for example, it did not include jump-to links for the information I was interested in. I had to switch to forms and manually find the relevant field to enter the information.

Given federal and California tax laws, terrific

Our tax situation was considerable more complicated this year due to a large required minimum distribution. I wondered how TurboTax would handle things. The answer was, "About as good as possible given the state of federal and California laws and regulations." These folks really earned their five stars this year. (I've been using TurboTax since the days when it was published by ChipSoft.)
