MUCH easier than 2023 Home and Business!!!! We have used Turbo Tax for YEARS and the first time we ran into problems was filling out our 2023 taxes - we were told (in a message once the returns were reviewed for accuracy) that a specific form was required for the return - but - Turbo Tax did not "support" that form. We had to print and mail everything with a very long explanation to the IRS and State Franchise Board. We were not then, and as far as we know, we will not be penalized, but what a HUGE surprise at the end of the process! WE approached this year with much trepidation, but thankfully, no surprises.

I have had good luck in the past 5 years with T T and though it was smoother in the past. Though in the last 2 years Ive had issues with y t y data transferring. I ended up doing it manually:(

Overall, my experience with Turbo Tax was great, until I had to pay to e-file my state. With the price we had to pay, that should automatically be included for states that need preparing.

Turbo Tax is Good but Not Awesome

Mostly pretty good. Can't seem to allocate a 1099-MISC (Rent) between two or more properties. Some features are a bit obscure, for example, I had some trouble discovering how to allocate my federal tax return to 2026 estimated payments. Straight forward for state tax, but not for federal.
